James Arnold has personally 30 years experience in the golf industry and has actively been involved in every aspect APIGS offers.
He was Area Director of Golf at the Arabella Golf & Spa Resort Mallorca developing the resort from 2 to 4 courses, creating the largest golf resort in southern Europe handling over 130,000 players per year, this supported by 3 luxury 5 star Arabella Starwood hotels.
In Hamburg James was the Operations Manager for Red Golf – a privately owned public golf course operator with 4 courses in the north of Germany including high usage public driving ranges.
James was a member of the British and German PGAs until 2008 when he reamateurised and plays off a moderate 5 Hcp.
James was Head Professional at the prestigious Olching Golf Club in Munich for 16 years; he also owned numerous golf academies and pro shops and organized various international tournaments. Other positions included Southern German PGA board member, Golf Store Buying Group Germany founder member and advisory capacity to Wilson Sporting Goods.
